Puppy Socials ongoing Saturdays at 10 AM in Redwood City - details below.
The 10 AM puppy play group WILL be held on Saturday, February 13th, but the 11:10 play group WILL NOT.

PLAY GROUP NOTICE: FOR THE MONTH of MARCH - THE SATURDAY PLAY GROUPS WILL BE IN REDWOOD CITY. 10:00 AM Puppy Play and 11:10 AM Adolescent Play is held at Planet Pooch, 866 Kaynyne St., Redwood City. Note this location is only a couple of minutes off Hwy 101 and a preferred location for many of my Los Altos and Palo Alto students.
10 AM puppy play groups WILL be held on Saturday, March 13th and March 21st, but the 11:10 play group WILL NOT.

Los Altos The American Legion Hall (in the rear room), 347 First Street in Los Altos which is just across the street from the Draegers Grocery Store.
Redwood City Planet Pooch is at 866 Kaynyne St which is off Bay Road, very close to Hwy 101 and Woodside Road.
South San Francisco Planet Pooch is at 113 South Linden Avenue which is a few blocks south of Grand Ave and very close to Hwy 101. Also very convenient off Hwy 380.

Los Altos Workshops
LEAVE IT! / Drop-it 6:15 Thursday November 12th. 1 hr for $30
Learn how to teach your dog to leave food, toys and other high value things (like mysterious blobs on the street) and how to apply it in the real world. This seminar includes teaching DROP IT too! 60 minutes; $30
Prerequisite: Your dog must already sit and down when cued with a handsignal or voice command, accept a friendly stranger petting them and be able to work on leash safely and quietly around people and other dogs.
Advanced LEAVE-IT! / Drop-it 7:30 Thursday November 12th. 1 hr for $30
If you and your dog already have learned the fundamantals of "leave-it" - this course builds on it. Learn how to teach your dog to leave really good stuff, even other dogs, people and stinky dead things and when they are at a distance from you too! 60 minutes; $25

*This class is taught by Lisa Carlson. Lisa is an honors graduate of the SFSPCA Academy for Dog Trainers. She specializies in puppy and beginner obedience with an additional focus on dogs with fear and unsocialization issues. Lisa began her career in 2003 as an intern with K9 Insight Obedience working alongside Pia McGovern, a specialist in fear & aggression in dogs. Lisa's approach takes into consideration each puppy, adolescent and adult dog is different. Lisa has a unique gift for understanding the subtle body language of our canine companions, which helps her to connect with each dog at its individual level. Lisa will teach you what you need to know to do the same for your animal. Lisa will also make sure you have a chance to apply what you are learning throughout the process.
